1 box Betty Crocker™ Gluten Free chocolate chip cookie mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 cup white vanilla baking chips (6 oz)

1/2 cup chopped red or green candied cherries
3/4 cup chopped cashews

  • Sprinkle baking chips, coconut, cherries and cashews evenly over partially baked crust. Pour condensed milk evenly over mixture.
  • Bake 25 to 35 minutes longer or until light golden brown, covering edges with strips of foil if necessary to prevent excessive browning. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.

These bars were a complete disaster. The crust was too crumbly and the filling was too runny. I ended up throwing the whole batch away.

The crust on these bars was a little dry, but the filling was delicious. I think I'll try making them again with a different crust recipe.

These bars are a little too sweet for my taste, but they're still really good. I think I'll try making them with a different filling next time.

I'm not a huge fan of chocolate, but I loved these bars. The crust was the perfect balance of sweet and salty, and the filling was creamy and smooth. I would definitely make these again.

I love that these bars are gluten-free. It's so hard to find good gluten-free desserts, but these bars are amazing. They're so rich and decadent, I can't believe they're gluten-free.

These bars were a little too sweet for my taste, but my kids loved them. I'll probably make them again, but I'll use less sugar next time.

I'm not a huge fan of gluten-free desserts, but these bars were surprisingly good. The crust was nice and chewy, and the filling was rich and chocolatey. I would definitely make them again.

These holiday layer bars were a hit at our Christmas party! They're so rich and decadent, and the gluten-free crust was a lifesaver for our celiac guests. I'll definitely be making these again next year.
