Steps:
- 1. Mix sugar, milk, and butter in a sauce pan. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens.
- 2. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
- 3. Stir in pecans.
- 4. Turn out on pan or wax paper to cool. Separate the pecans so they don't stick together while they dry.
- 5. Seal in an air-tight container.
