Time 5m

Yield 4 servings

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 mangos
1-inch piece of ginger
2 (8-ounce) containers vanilla yogurt
1 handful of ice cubes
2 tablespoons honey

Steps:

  • To remove the flesh of the mango, cut the flesh away from the pit in 2 large pieces. Use a paring knife to cut through the flesh (but not through the peel) in a crisscross grid pattern. Use your thumbs to press against the skin side and pop the mango cubes up. Cut across the bottom, along the peel and add the cubes to the blender.
  • Peel ginger. Grate ginger finely into bowl. Use fingers to squeeze juice out of gratings. Discard juiced gratings.
  • Put ginger and remaining ingredients in the blender and blend until thick and smooth.
  • If you don't have a blender you can still make the drink: Just whisk everything but the ice together in a mixing bowl. Fill glasses with ice and pour the mixture on top.

This lassi is so good! I'm wondering if I can make it with strawberry and banana?

This lassi is so versatile! I've made it with different types of fruit, and it always turns out delicious. My favorite variation is with pineapple and mint. It's so refreshing and tropical.

The lassi turned out perfectly! It was smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. I used unsweetened almond milk instead of yogurt, and it was still delicious.

I made this lassi with almond milk instead of yogurt, and it turned out great! It was still nice and creamy, with a slightly nutty flavor.

This lassi is so refreshing and flavorful! I love the combination of ginger and mango. I didn't have any yogurt on hand, so I substituted it with kefir, and it turned out just as good. I'll definitely be making this again!

The lassi turned out perfectly! It was smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. I think it would be even better if I garnished it with some fresh mint leaves.

I made this lassi for my friends and they all loved it. I used frozen mango chunks instead of fresh mango, and it turned out just as good. I also added a little bit of honey to sweeten it up.

This lassi is absolutely delicious! I love the way the ginger and mango flavors complement each other. I have a tip for making it even better: blend it with some ice cubes for a refreshing slushie.

The lassi turned out great! It was smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. I think it would be even better if I let it sit in the fridge for a few hours before drinking it.

I was hesitant to try this recipe because I'm not a big fan of mango, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ginger and mango flavors complemented each other perfectly, and the yogurt made the lassi nice and creamy. I'll definitely be making this again!
