Frying Pan Cookies image

My Sisters Recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 stick butter
1 c brown sugar
1 c chopped dates
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg, beaten
2 1/2 c rice krispies

Steps:

  • 1. Mix above ingredients in frying pan at low heat until blended and dates melt. Take off heat and beat in quickly 1 whole beaten egg. Cook 10 min. Take off heat and mix over 2 1/2 C. rice krispies. Butter your hands. Take spoonful and roll into balls then roll over chopped nuts or shredded coconut if desired.
