I'm sorry to say I don't really have measurements for the seasonings. I cook most of the time by eyeing my seasonings, but when it comes to fried chicken, seasoning should be to preference. These are rough measurements ,but I think they're pretty close.

Categories     Poultry Appetizers

Time 1h20m

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 c all purpose flour
1 Tbsp plus 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 Tbsp plus 1 teaspoon pepper
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp plus 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
3 lb chicken wings
1/2 tsp accent
1 egg
oil for deep frying.

Steps:

  • 1. Combine the flour and 1 tbsp each of first four seasonings.
  • 2. After cleaning and cutting your wings (or you can leave them whole), add the remaining seasonings to the chicken along with the accent and egg. Mix well. You can do this an hour or more before cooking if you want it to marinade for a while.
  • 3. Coat chicken in seasoned flour and deep fry at 375' or medium-high heat for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
