Fresh Mango Salad image

Been making this for years after having similar at Springs Restaurant in Toronto. Different recipes changed up. The optional mixed greens is good with the mango salad on top. Nuts are tasty but not necessary. I have also added thinly sliced fresh red pepper on occasion. This photo is a tiny bowl leftover from last nights dinner....

I followed the recipe exactly, but my salad didn't turn out as good as I expected. I'm not sure what went wrong.

I found the dressing to be a bit too oily. I would recommend using less oil.

I added some chopped avocado to the salad. It made it even more creamy and delicious.

I used a serrano pepper instead of a jalapeño pepper. It gave the salad a nice spicy kick.

I'm not a big fan of cilantro, so I omitted it from the recipe. The salad was still delicious without it.
