FRESH CRANBERRY COOKIES image

Yield Yields about 8 dozen cookies.

Number Of Ingredients 12

3 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup firmly-packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp lemon juice
3 cups fresh cranberries, chopped
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Measure flour, baking powder, soda and salt into mixing bowl and mix with fork. Cream butter and sugar in separate bowl. Beat egg, milk & lemon juice into creamed butter. Stir cream butter mixture bit by bit into flour mixture until well blended together. Stir in cranberries & walnuts. Drop dough by teaspoon, about 1 inch apart, on greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until firm and golden. Remove from sheets to cool on wire rack.
