Eggplant (Aubergine) Casserole -- Perfect for Passover image

This is one of my most successful attempts at getting my BH to eat something he claims he hates. BH despises eggplant, or so he says. I started making this about 5 years ago (got the idea from my upstairs neighbor). I haven't yet told him about the secret ingredient. Don't you dare tell him either!

I've tried this recipe several times and I can never get it right. I think there's something wrong with the instructions.

I was disappointed with this recipe. The eggplant was tough and the sauce was too thin.

This casserole was way too cheesy for my taste. I'll definitely cut down on the cheese next time.

I found this casserole to be a bit bland. I think it needed more seasoning.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my casserole turned out watery. Maybe I didn't cook the eggplant long enough?
