Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a 13x9 inch metal baking pan. Combine butter or margarine and cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium low heat. Stir until butter is melted and cocoa powder is completely incorporated. Remove from heat. Stir in the sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and salt. Fold in the flour quickly and stir only until no flour is visible - you don't want to overstir. Put into prepared pan. Sprinkle optional nuts over the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Brownies will look very moist. Let cool in pan before slicing.
