Easy Crock Pot Split Pea Soup image

We love this for dinner on cold winter days!

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 1/2 c chicken broth, plus water to make 2 cups (we don't like it too salty)
1 c green split peas, sorted and rinsed
1 c carrots and zucchini, small chop
1 c ham chunks (i use chopped ham steak)
seasonings to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Adjust amounts of veggies and ham to suit your taste.
  • 2. Mix all ingredients in a medium/small crock pot.
  • 3. Cook 4 hours high or 8-10 hours low. Makes two LARGE serving or four small servings
