Decorated Spice Cookies image

These cookies are a Christmas tradition in my household. I look forward to making them every year! I love the old-fashioned flavor. I saw a bunch of spice cookies on Zaar, but none quite like this. Cook time is if you bake about a dozen cookies at a time.

These cookies are a bit too spicy for my taste, but my husband loved them. I think next time I'll use a little less ginger and cloves.

These cookies are a great way to use up leftover spices. I had some pumpkin pie spice that I needed to use up, and these cookies were the perfect way to do it.
