Danny's Mess image

This is go to recipe of my stepmom's and we ate it a bunch growing up. I believe Danny was her big-brother at NAU and I THINK he was a Delta Chi - This is good as is, but being 1/2 Japanese I add a little soy sauce to my portion. My brother used salsa.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 lb lean ground beef
1 green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 c white rice
2 c water
1 pkg dry onion soup mix

Steps:

  • 1. Brown ground beef, green pepper and onion. Add rice, water and dry soup mix and combine. Cover & simmer till done - about 20 to 30 minutes
