Cuban Sandwich image

This sandwich is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it too.

Number Of Ingredients 6

mustard
3 thin slices of sweet ham
3 thin slices of roasted pork
3 slices of swiss cheese
4 slices of pickles, dill
1/2 of french bread or 1/3 of cuban bread

Steps:

  • 1. Cut bread in half just so its still connected on one side. spread mustard on one side.
  • 2. Add ham, pork, cheese and pickle slices, close sandwich. Brush softened butter on both sides of sandwich.
  • 3. Place sandwich in a sandwich press or an iron skillet with a smaller one to put on top. Cook till cheese is melted and bread is hard to the touch. If using skillet method, flip sandwich so both sides are equally cooked.
