Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. 2. Halve plum tomatoes lengthwise & drizzle with olive oil. 3. Sprinkle tomatoes with thyme & salt & pepper. 4. Roast until tomatoes are soft & slightly shrunken, 1-1/2 to 2 hours. 5. Remove & raise oven temperature to 400 degrees. 6. Drizzle 8-1/2 inch thick baguette slices with olive oil & bake until golden brown, 10 minutes. 7. Rub toasts with a halved garlic clove & top each with a roasted tomato.
