Crockpot Baked Cinnamon Apples image

This a delicious breakfast/brunch dish. These apples are yummy as a side dish or spooned on waffles!

Number Of Ingredients 8

6 apples large
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 stick cold butter sliced

Steps:

  • 1. peel, core and slice apples. Put all ingredients except butter in crockpot and stir well to coat.
  • 2. Slice butter and place on top of apples. Cook on low for 3 1/2 - 4 hours. Stir once halfway through cooking.
