Crock Pot Apple Glazed Pork Roast image

i remember my mom cooking this great meal on some sundays for us after church it would be so good and moist and tender

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 lb pork loin roast
6 apples
1/4 c apple juice
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground ginger

Steps:

  • 1. rub roast with salt and pepper to season. brown the roast under broiler to remove excess fat, drain well.
  • 2. core and quarter apples. place apple quarters in the bottom of the crock pot.
  • 3. place roast on top of apples. combine apple juice, brown sugar and ginger. spoon over roast, moistening well.
  • 4. cover, cook on low for for 10-12 hours or until done.
  • 5. note: this recipe can also be made with apricots. can also make this with pork chops so yummy.
