Creamy Anchovy Dressing image

This is a recipe from an older department store in St. Louis, Famous & Barr. A great creamy anchovy-based dressing! Great with a romaine lettuce or salad greens blend.

I'm not a huge fan of anchovies, but this dressing was surprisingly good. The anchovy flavor is very subtle, and it really adds a nice depth of flavor.

This dressing is a bit too fishy for my taste, but I can see how it would be good on a salad with a strong flavor.

I've made this dressing several times and it's always a hit. It's creamy, tangy, and just the right amount of salty.

This dressing is a bit too fishy for my taste, but I can see how it would be good on a salad with a strong flavor, like arugula or radicchio.
