Cranberry Sweet & Sour Meatballs image

This is one of those recipies where you think you're so smart. You make double the amount & then you can have enough for another meal.Well, my men (3 of them) never let that happen.

1 lb chopped meat
pepper
salt
1 onion, chopped fine
4 garlic cloves, crushed
1 large egg
1 cup crushed honey-nut flavor toasted oat cereal (or more till right consistancy) or 1 cup crunchy nut cereal (or more till right consistancy)
1 (16 ounce) can cranberry sauce
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Steps:

  • Combine all meatball ingrediants Form Balls Combine sauce ingrediants& boil for a few minutes Add meatballs& reduce heat Cook 1- 11/2 hours.
  • Yields approximately.
  • 25 meatballs.
