Corner Bakery French Toast image

This is not like regular 'French toast', it's more like a rich, soft, moist bread pudding that can be sliced and served with syrup. It's perfect for brunch and can also be served for dessert. This recipe comes from the Chicago Tribune.

I followed the recipe exactly and the French toast turned out terrible. It was dry and flavorless. I won't be making this recipe again.

The French toast was good, but it wasn't anything special. I've had better French toast at other restaurants.

This French toast was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was still very good. I think I'll try it again with less sugar next time.
