Classic Cobb Salad image

With a variety of fresh ingredients, this salad is not only tasty but good for you as well! This is a delicious meal to enjoy anytime...

5 c iceberg lettuce, chopped (about 1/2 head)
4 large hard-boiled eggs, yolks and whites separated
6 large strips cooked bacon, chopped
2 large chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
20 large cherry tomatoes, washed and halved
2 large avocados, cubed
2 Tbsp blue cheese, crumbled (1 tbsp. per plate)
2 tsp fresh chives, chopped (1 tsp. per plate)
1 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Place 2 ½ cups chopped lettuce on two large plates; set aside. Using a bench scrapper, place a row of chopped egg yolks and followed with a row of bacon. Place a row of half chicken breast cubes then another row of tomatoes and the remaining of chicken breast cubes. Add a row of avocado cubes and finish the last row with chopped egg whites.
  • 2. Add crumbled blue cheese over the ingredients, about 1 tbsp. per plate. Sprinkle with chives and finish with parsley. Pour on your favorite dressing such as Blue Cheese, Ranch, etc. Serve 2
