Chocolate Haystacks image

I have been making these for many years. They are so easy yet are some of the most requested treats during the holidays. I make these chocolate haystacks with chocolate chips and peanuts and I make vanilla haystacks with vanilla almond bark and cashews. I usually combine some of each in a nice gift box for special occasions.

1/2 bag chow mein noodles

Steps:

  • 1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl. Heat at 30 second intervals until melted and smooth.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my chocolate haystacks turned out dry and crumbly. I'm not sure what went wrong.
