Chili With Beans and Ground Turkey image

Similar to "Mom's Chili-Crockpot Version" this chili replaces ground beef with ground turkey, tomato paste with diced tomatoes, and is a lower fat alternative. Great with grated low fat cheese and fat free sour cream on top. Also, hot chili sauce to taste can be stirred into the crockpot to make this recipe hotter.

1 lb dried kidney beans
1 teaspoon oregano
1 onion, chopped

2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • Add meat/flour mixture to crock pot.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my chili turned out watery. I think I added too much liquid.

This recipe is missing some key ingredients. It needs more beans and vegetables.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my chili turned out too spicy. Next time, I'll use less chili powder.

This chili is so easy to make, and it's always a crowd-pleaser. I love that I can throw it all in the slow cooker and forget about it until dinnertime.

I'm not usually a fan of turkey in chili, but this recipe changed my mind. The turkey was moist and flavorful, and the chili had just the right amount of heat.

This chili was a hit with my family! The ground turkey made it a healthier option, but it was still packed with flavor. I especially loved the combination of spices.
