Chili-Chipotle Brownie Bars image

What fun I had creating these sweet and spiced-up brownies, and those who have sampled every change in the recipe have had fun as well. It may have taken a few tweaks to reach perfection, but after just one bite, I knew I'd nailed it. -Sheri Dunlap, Shawnee, Oklahoma

I'm not a big fan of chocolate, but these brownies were surprisingly good. The chipotle peppers gave them a nice kick.

I followed the recipe exactly and the brownies turned out dry and crumbly. I'm not sure what went wrong.

I'm not a big fan of spicy food, but these brownies were surprisingly mild. The chipotle peppers added just a hint of heat that was really nice.

These brownies were a hit at my party! They were fudgy, moist, and had the perfect amount of spice. The chipotle peppers added a subtle smokiness that really complemented the chocolate.
