Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 or 3 boneless, skinless chicken breast, cooked and chopped
1 pkg frozen spinach (10 oz)
3 oz cream cheese
1/4 c mayonnaise
3/4 c mozzarella cheese, shredded
3/4 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 c parmesan cheese, grated
2 Tbsp onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
salt and pepper (to taste)
2 pkg crescent rolls

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375F. Cook the frozen spinach according to package directions in the Covered Micro-Cooker. Add cream cheese to the hot spinach and mix well. Using the Deluxe Cheese Grater, grate all of the additional cheeses and add to the spinach mixture. Add mayonnaise and pressed garlic to the mixture. Using the Food Chopper, chop the onion and cooked chicken breast into small pieces and add to other ingredients.
  • 2. Arrange crescent triangles in a circle on 15" Baking Stone, with bases overlapping in center and points to outside (there should be a 5-inch diameter circle in center). Using medium Stainless Steel Scoop, spoon mixture over wide ends of crescent rolls. Fold points of triangles over filling and tuck under base at center (filling will not be completely covered). Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown

This chicken ring was a bit dry. I think I overcooked it. But the flavor was still good.

I'm not a huge fan of chicken rings, but this one was pretty good. I liked the crispy crescent roll crust and the moist chicken filling.

I love how versatile this recipe is. You can use any type of cheese or vegetables that you like. I also like to add a little bit of garlic powder or onion powder to the filling.

This chicken ring is a great make-ahead dish. I often make it the night before and then bake it the next day.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover chicken. I also like to add some chopped vegetables to the filling, such as celery, carrots, and peas.
