Steps:
- 1. Place chicken in a large pot. Add water and chicken base Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer one hour or until tender. Remove chicken from broth. . Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Cut butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add 3/4 cup chicken broth, stirring with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened.
- 2. Turn our on to a well floured surface and knead. Pat or roll dough to 1/4 - 1/2 inch thickness. Cut dough into small squares and sprinkle with additional flour. Bring broth to a boil. Drop dough, one pice at a time into boiling broth, gently stirring after each addition. Reduce heat to low - cover and cook 8 to 10 minutes.
- 3. Add the chicken that you de-boned and broken into smaller pieces back into the pot and serve.
