Cherry cranberry salad image

I made this for my first holiday dinner that I had at my house and everyone loved it.

Number Of Ingredients 8

6 oz package cherry gelatin
1 c sugar
2 c boiling water
20 oz can undrained crushed pineapple
3 c fresh or frozen cranberries
1 1/2 c diced apples
1 c chopped celery
1 c chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • 1. In large bowl, combine gelatin and sugar. Add water and stir until gelatin and sugar are dissolved.
  • 2. Stir in pineapple, cranberries, apples, celery and walnuts.
  • 3. Pour into a 2qt serving bowl and chill until firm, 3-4 hours.
