CEREAL COOKIES image

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. corn oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla + some
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. Rice Krispies (can use trader Joe's morning Lite)
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut - used choco chips instead of coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts - used 1 cup

Steps:

  • Cream sugars, butter, and oil. Beat in eggs, vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Mix in cereal, oatmeal, coconut, and nuts by hand. (mixed all in big bowel, dumped in mixer together) Chill several hours or overnight. Shape into balls and flatten with sugared glass. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned. Makes 7 dozen cookies.
