Canadian Bacon Split Pea & Lentil Soup (Crock Pot) image

Made this up tonight. I compared some recipes and then used what I had. Turned out very tasty! Bet it would be good vegetarian too. Great served with herbed croutons and shredded Parmesan cheese!

I've made this soup several times, and it's always a hit. It's easy to make, and it's always delicious. I usually add a bit of extra garlic and onion, and I like to serve it with a side of crusty bread.

This soup was a great way to use up leftover Canadian bacon. The soup was flavorful and hearty, and it was perfect for a cold winter day. I will definitely be making this soup again.

I'm not a fan of lentils, but I really enjoyed this soup. The lentils were cooked perfectly, and they didn't have that mushy texture that I usually don't like. I would definitely make this soup again.

I made this soup in my slow cooker, and it turned out great. The soup was cooked evenly, and the flavors had a chance to meld together. I would definitely recommend making this soup in a slow cooker.

This soup was a bit bland for my taste. I had to add more salt and pepper to taste. Other than that, the soup was good.

I followed the recipe, but the soup turned out too thin. I had to add more lentils and split peas to thicken it up. Other than that, the soup was good.

This soup was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. I probably won't make it again.
