Brown Edge Wafers image

This is an old family recipe. Easy and elegant

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/3 c sugar
1/2 c butter, softened
1 egg (well beaten)
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c flour
dash salt
1/4 tsp lemon

Steps:

  • 1. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and lemon extracts.
  • 2. Add egg and mix well.
  • 3. Add flour and salt and mix well.
  • 4. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. leave enough space apart for cookies to expand. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are brown.
