Broccoli with Mustard Sauce image

Amazing what adding a little bit of this tangy sauce to the broccoli does for the flavor!

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 Tbsp water, divided
1 Tbsp butter, melted
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
4 c broccoli florets
1 Tbsp olive oil

Steps:

  • 1. In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon water with the butter, brown sugar, and mustard. Set sauce aside.
  • 2. In a skillet, stir-fry broccoli in the olive oil for 1 minute. Add the remaining water, reduce heat, and cover and cook for several minutes until crisp-tender.
  • 3. Add the mustard sauce and toss to coat.
