Broccoli ~ Cauliflower ~ Pea Salad image

A salad similar to this was served at my niece's bridal shower. Everyone was raving! We were all trying to figure out the dressing. So this is what I came up with, and it's a real keeper! When I made this for Hubby, he couldn't get enough! I hope you like this as much as we do!

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 c frozen broccoli and cauliflower medley, thawed
1/2 c frozen peas, thawed
1 bunch green onions, cut small, up into the green part
THE DRESSING
1/4 c mayonnaise
1/4 c sour cream
1/8 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. In a bowl mix the green onions into the broccoli, cauliflower, and peas. In a separate bowl mix the mayonnaise, sour cream and the garlic powder together.
  • 2. Pour the dressing over the vegetables. Mix well. Chill, serve, and enjoy!
  • 3. ** If you prefer, you can use fresh broccoli and cauliflower. Just blanch first. This process will keep the broccoli and cauliflower still crisp, just slightly tender.

I'm not a big fan of broccoli, but I loved this salad. The cauliflower and peas really balanced out the flavor.
