Number Of Ingredients 8

1 pound medium to large shrimp
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/3 cup water
1/2 bay leaf
2 sprigs fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried
12 peppercorns
Salt to taste, if desired
4 sprigs fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Let simmer about one minute and remove from the heat.
