These ribs are a favorite anywhere I take them. They can be done on the grill or in the oven...delicious! We love the sauce especially..you will too! My photo

Time 1h10m

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 lb country-style pork ribs - i always double the recipe
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 c ketchup
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c honey
1/4 c spicy brown mustard
2 - 3 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 - 1/2 tsp teaspoons liquid smoke, optional

Steps:

  • 1. Place ribs in a large kettle or Dutch oven; sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper. Add enough water to cover; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until juices run clear and ribs are tender; drain. Combine the remaining ingredients. Grill ribs, uncovered, over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, basting with sauce and turning occasionally.
  • 2. If I use the oven method. Boil the ribs for 15 minutes; and then place ribs in a 10x15 pan and ladle most of the sauce over the ribs and bake at 350'F for 30-40 min. uncovered.

These ribs were a disappointment. The meat was tough and the sauce was bland. I would not recommend this recipe.

These ribs were a little too sweet for my taste but they were still good. I would recommend using less honey in the sauce.

I followed the recipe exactly and the ribs turned out perfect. They were fall-off-the-bone tender and the sauce was delicious.

I'm not a big fan of ribs but these were actually really good. The meat was tender and the sauce was flavorful.

I loved the crispy outer layer of the ribs and the tender meat inside. The honey BBQ sauce was also a great addition.

The ribs were delicious but they took a little longer to cook than the recipe said. I would recommend starting them a little earlier than the recipe suggests.
