Steps:
- Beat together butter and sugar; add egg and flavorings. Beat in dry ingredients. Chill dough. Can be rolled out and cut with cookie cutters, or formed into balls and flattened with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Also delicious sandwiched with jam.
