AUNT AGGIE'S SUGAR COOKIES image

2 2/3 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract

Steps:

  • Beat together butter and sugar; add egg and flavorings. Beat in dry ingredients. Chill dough. Can be rolled out and cut with cookie cutters, or formed into balls and flattened with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Also delicious sandwiched with jam.
