6 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
2/3 cup quick-cooking oats
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped peeled apple
1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries
powdered sugar (to garnish)

Steps:

  • Combine butter and sugar. Add eggs, honey and vanilla.
  • Combine dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients to dry. Fold in apple and cranberries.
  • Pour into 8 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes or until done.
  • Cool on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
