Steps:
- 1. Add all ingredients except cornstarch and water in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 9 to 10 hours. Remove the roast and onions from the slow cooker and shred. Discard the bay leaves
- 2. Place the sauce in a sauce pan on stove and bring to a boil. Mix the cornstarch with the water and whisk into the sauce to thicken it.
- 3. Serve the roast with the sauce on top
