This recipe is a great starting point for creating your own variations. I added some chopped fresh sage to the squash mixture, and it turned out really well. I'm sure there are many other ways to customize this dish.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover squash. I had some roasted squash that I needed to use up, and this recipe was the perfect solution. The dish was easy to make and turned out delicious.

I didn't have any pecans on hand, so I used walnuts instead. They worked just as well, and the dish was still delicious.

The acorn squash was a bit tough, even after cooking it for the recommended time. I think I would have preferred to cook it for a bit longer.

This dish was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would have preferred it with less maple syrup. Otherwise, it was a good recipe.

This acorn squash dish turned out amazing! The spices really brought out the flavor of the squash, and the crispy topping added a nice texture. I'll definitely be making this again.
