7 UP CAKE image

this is a nice cake to take for pot lucks, my beat friend gave this to me about 20 years ago, it' really easy and good.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 box lenom supreme cake mix
3/4 c oil
1 10 oz can 7 up
1 box vanills pudding mix
7 eggs
2 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c margarine
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 tsp cornstarch or 6 tsp flour
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 c chopped pecas
1 c coconut

Steps:

  • 1. mix first 4 ingredients and add 4 eggs, mix well, pour into a greased and floured baking pan 9x13" bake at 325 for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. cool cake completly
  • 2. in a large pot combine the sugar, 3 eggs, margarine, vanilla, cornstarch, pineapple. cook on med. heat until thichend.
  • 3. add the pecand and coconut to the mixture and mix well, spread on cooled cake
