50 % Whole Wheat Bread - Bread Machine image

This is a nice light bread that is very tasty for sandwiches and does not require the whole wheat cycle on the ABM. It is from the "Canadian Bread Machine Baking" with Roxanne McQuilkin.

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon molasses
1 1/4 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Steps:

  • Add to bread machine in order recommended by manufacturer.
  • Use basic or timed cycle.
