1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C ). Put butter in 2 quart casserole dish, place in oven until melted.

Tips:

  • Use fresh corn. Fresh corn has a sweeter flavor and a more tender texture than canned or frozen corn.
  • Don't overcook the corn. Overcooked corn will become tough and chewy.
  • Use a heavy cream or half-and-half. This will give the pudding a richer flavor and a creamier texture.
  • Add some seasonings. Salt, pepper, and garlic powder are all good options. You can also add other seasonings to taste, such as paprika, chili powder, or cumin.
  • Bake the pudding until it is set. The pudding should be firm to the touch and a toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.
  • Serve the pudding warm or cold. Creamed corn pudding is delicious on its own or as a side dish with roasted chicken, grilled pork chops, or fried fish.

Conclusion:

Creamed corn pudding is a classic comfort food that is easy to make and always a hit with family and friends. With its sweet and creamy flavor, it is a perfect side dish for any occasion.
