Time 15m

Yield 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 3

16 ounces cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
1 quart raspberry sherbet
26 ounces ginger ale, chilled

Steps:

  • Pour 1/4 C cranberry juice in each of 6 short, wide glasses.
  • Place 1/2 C sherbert in each glass.
  • Fill with ginger ale.

Tips:

  • To make the raspberry puree, start by rinsing the raspberries under cold water and picking out any stems or leaves. Then, add the raspberries to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If desired, strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any seeds.
  • For a creamier soda, use vanilla ice cream instead of lemon-lime soda. You can also add a scoop of ice cream to each glass before serving.
  • If you don't have any fresh raspberries on hand, you can use frozen raspberries instead. Just be sure to thaw them completely before using.
  • To make a non-alcoholic version of this soda, simply omit the vodka. You can also use sparkling water instead of lemon-lime soda.
  • Garnish each glass of soda with a fresh raspberry or a sprig of mint.

Conclusion:

Raspberry frost sodas are a delicious and refreshing treat that are perfect for any occasion. They're easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal taste. So next time you're looking for a sweet and bubbly drink, give this recipe a try!
