Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken: For best results, use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. You can also use chicken tenders or strips.
  • Tenderize the chicken: Pounding the chicken breasts or thighs with a meat mallet helps to tenderize them and makes them more receptive to the marinade.
  • Make the marinade ahead of time: The longer the chicken marinates, the more flavorful it will be. You can marinate the chicken for up to 24 hours, but even 30 minutes will make a difference.
  • Cook the chicken over medium heat: Cooking the chicken over medium heat helps to prevent it from drying out. You can cook the chicken in a skillet, on a grill, or in the oven.
  • Don't overcook the chicken: Chicken is cooked through when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Overcooking the chicken will make it dry and tough.
  • Serve the chicken with your favorite sides: Rafferty's Kona Chicken is delicious served with rice, noodles, or vegetables. You can also serve it with a dipping sauce, such as teriyaki sauce or sweet and sour sauce.

Conclusion:

Rafferty's Kona Chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. With its sweet and tangy flavor, this chicken is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
