Tips:

  • Using a hand mixer: If you don't have a stand mixer, you can use a hand mixer to cream together the butter and sugar. Just be sure to use a low speed so that you don't overbeat the mixture.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Once you've added the flour, mix the dough just until it comes together. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes will help the cookies keep their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set: The cookies should be slightly golden brown around the edges and just set in the center. If you overbake them, they will be dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely: Once the cookies are baked, let them cool completely on a wire rack before storing them. This will help them keep their shape and texture.

Conclusion:

Pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for fall. With their soft and chewy texture, sweet and tangy flavor, and festive appearance, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a fun and festive cookie to bake, give pumpkin snickerdoodles a try!
