Tips:

  • Choose the freshest garlic possible. Fresh garlic will have a stronger flavor and aroma than older garlic.
  • Use a variety of citrus fruits. Different citrus fruits will add different flavors to the marinade. For example, oranges will add a sweet flavor, while lemons will add a tart flavor.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different herbs and spices. Common herbs and spices used in Puerto Rican cooking include cilantro, oregano, cumin, and paprika.
  • Let the meat marinate for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours. Marinating the meat for too long can make it tough.
  • Cook the meat over medium-high heat. This will help to seal in the flavor of the marinade.

Conclusion:

Puerto Rican garlic marinade is a delicious and versatile way to add flavor to your favorite meats. It is easy to make and can be used on chicken, pork, beef, or lamb. The next time you're looking for a new way to spice up your meals, give Puerto Rican garlic marinade a try. You won't be disappointed!
