PORK STEAKS WITH SAVORY CREAM OF MUSHROOM
I made this for my kids and I.. but I had so much left over that I ended up giving a plate to my neighbors and a friend tried left overs. My neighbors said that it was so good.. It was tender enough that you could pinch it with a fork and seemed as if it were made from a crock pot. I received wonderful reviews from this meal.

PORK STEAK BAKE IN MUSHROOM SAUCE
Pork steaks baked in a delicious mushroom sauce, this is a must served with mashed potatoes, do not add in any extra salt to this recipe! I use one can each of golden mushroom *and* cream of mushroom soup, but that is optional, this recipe may be doubled but will require a larger baking dish

Tips:
- To ensure your pork steaks are cooked evenly throughout, use a meat thermometer to check that they have reached an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) before removing them from the pan.
- If you don't have a meat thermometer or prefer a more visual cue, cook the pork steaks until they are no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear when you pierce them with a fork.
- For a richer, more flavorful sauce, use a combination of heavy cream and milk instead of all milk.
- If you like your sauce thicker, add a tablespoon of cornstarch or flour to the mixture before simmering.
- Serve the pork steaks with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or rice.
Conclusion:
This recipe for pork steaks with savory cream of mushroom is an easy and delicious weeknight meal. The pork steaks are tender and juicy, and the creamy mushroom sauce is rich and flavorful.
