1 tablespoon canola oil
1 cup chopped onion
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth

1 red apple, chopped
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled, optional

1 large red apple, diced
1 onion, chopped
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon caraway seeds
