1/2 cup hot pepper jelly
2 cups frozen lima beans, thawed
2 cups frozen corn kernels, thawed
1 15.5-ounce can hominy, drained and rinsed

Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops: Look for pork chops that are at least 1 inch thick and have a good amount of marbling. This will help ensure that they stay juicy and flavorful during cooking.
  • Season the pork chops well: Before cooking, season the pork chops with a generous amount of salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs and spices. This will help to enhance their flavor.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: Feel free to experiment with different vegetables in your foil packets. Some good options include potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and zucchini.
  • Add some moisture: To prevent the pork chops from drying out, add a little bit of liquid to the foil packets. This could be water, broth, or even a flavorful sauce.
  • Seal the foil packets tightly: Make sure to seal the foil packets tightly so that the steam can't escape. This will help to cook the pork chops evenly and prevent them from drying out.
  • Cook the pork chops until they are done: The cooking time for pork chops will vary depending on their thickness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the pork chops to make sure that they are cooked through.

Conclusion:

Pork chop foil packets are a delicious and easy way to cook pork chops. They are perfect for busy weeknights or for a casual weekend meal. With a little planning, you can create a variety of flavorful and satisfying dishes. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy pork chop recipe, give foil packets a try.
