This delicious peach iced tea tastes eerily similar to a famous Italian chain restaurant's peach tea. Serve tea over ice and garnish with peach slices, if desired.

Time 50m

Yield 6

1 cup water
1 cup white sugar
2 slices fresh peach, or more to taste
6 cups water

Remove saucepan from heat, cover, and allow peaches to infuse syrup, about 30 minutes. Strain to remove peach slices.
  • Bring 6 cups remaining water to a boil in a separate pot. Remove from heat, add tea bags, cover, and steep for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags from the pot, pour in peach syrup, and cool to room temperature. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

ALCOHOLIC SWEET PEACH TEA

Alcoholic Sweet Peach Tea image

A fresh, peachy sweet tea that's perfect for hot summer days. I am definitely NOT a fan of sweet or flavored tea, but I came up with this concoction on accident, and LOVE it. Remember, the amount of alcohol you want to use is up to personal taste. I personally use a little more vodka than peach schnapps. I just like a touch of the peach flavoring.

HOMEMADE PEACH ICED TEA

Homemade Peach Iced Tea image

Provided by Chuck Hughes

Categories     beverage

Time 2h40m

Yield 4 to 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups/500ml sugar
6 peaches, halved and pitted
1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise and seeds scraped
1 tablespoon/15ml loose green or black tea leaves or 4 tea bags
Split vanilla beans, for garnish

Steps:

  • Bring 3 cups (750ml) water and the sugar to a boil in a pot. Add the peaches and vanilla bean (including the seeds). Simmer over medium heat for about 30 minutes.
  • Discard the vanilla bean. Pour the peaches and syrup into a blender and puree until smooth. Strain the peach puree through a sieve into a pitcher.
  • Bring 4 cups (1 liter) water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from the heat, add the tea and steep according to the package directions. Strain to remove the tea leaves, then add the tea to the pitcher with the peach puree. Stir to combine. Refrigerate until cold.
  • The pulp from the fruit may have separated from the tea during chilling, so be sure to stir it before serving. Pour over ice cubes in tall glasses and garnish with vanilla beans.
  • Cook's Note: When blending hot liquids, remove liquid from the heat and allow to cool for at least 5 minutes. Transfer liquid to a blender or food processor and fill it no more than halfway. If using a blender, release one corner of the lid. This prevents the vacuum effect that creates heat explosions. Place a towel over the top of the machine, pulse a few times then process on high speed until smooth.

COPYCAT STARBUCKS SHAKEN ICED PEACH GREEN TEA LEMONADE

Copycat Starbucks Shaken Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade image

I hardly ever go to Starbucks any more, after purchasing a Keruig years ago. Tried one of these a few days ago and have been back 3 times. Last time, I thought this was crazy, so I questioned the cashier. He said use 7 squirts of peach syrup. Some Starbuck's sells peach, almost all stores that have a Starbucks inside will sell the syrups. I have bought this at Von's and at Target. I purchased the plunger which was under $3.00 (I love that thing!) because the cashier had no idea what 7 squirts measured out to be. It's so much easier to squirt out the syrup, then measure into each glass, or so, I think. Hope you enjoy as much as I do! No more money spent at Starbucks on these babies!

Non-alcoholic Peach Bellini Tea image

I made this in a punch bowl for my Grandsons graduation and everyone remarked how good it was. It is so simple to make you won't believe it. It tastes like the Olive Garden's Bellini Tea.

Provided by Elaine Laskowski

Categories     Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 gal tea, instant raspberry works well
or 1 gal brewed and chilled tea
raspberry flavored syrup to taste
1 bag(s) frozen peach slices
1 bunch fresh mint, optional

Steps:

  • 1. Brew tea if making your own iced tea. If using a mix, make one gallon of tea.
  • 2. Add the raspberry flavored syrup to taste, or mix up a gallon of raspberry flavored ice tea mix.
  • 3. Add the frozen peach slices to each glass or in the punchbowl right before serving. Garnish with a sprig of mint if desired.
  • 4. Adding some light rum makes this an adult drink.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, juicy peaches: This will ensure the best flavor for your tea.
  • Use fresh mint leaves: Mint is a refreshing herb that pairs perfectly with peaches. If you don't have fresh mint, you can substitute dried mint, but use half the amount.
  • Sweeten to taste: The amount of sugar or honey you add will depend on your personal preference. Start with a small amount and add more to taste.
  • Chill the tea before serving: This will make the tea even more refreshing on a hot day.
  • Garnish with a peach slice or mint sprig: This will add a touch of elegance to your tea.

Conclusion:

Peach tea is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for summer. It is easy to make and can be enjoyed hot or cold. With its sweet and tart flavor, peach tea is a great way to cool down on a hot day or to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. So next time you are looking for a refreshing drink, give peach tea a try!
