Categories     Bread     Herb     Bake     Quick & Easy

Yield 1 loaf

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 c warm water
1/4 c olive oil
1 t basil
1 t cilantro
1/4 t rosemary
1 t garlic powder
1/4 t italian seasoning or oregano
1 T dried onion flakes
1 t salt
1 T sugar
3 c bread flour
1/3 c parmesan cheese (grated or shreddd)
2 t yeast

Steps:

  • Bake on basic bread cycle.

Tips for Making Parmesan Herb Bread:

  • Use fresh herbs: Fresh herbs provide the best flavor for this bread. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but use half the amount called for in the recipe.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will result in a tough, dense bread. Mix the dough just until it comes together and forms a ball.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place: The dough should rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until it has doubled in size. This will help the bread to be light and airy.
  • Bake the bread until it is golden brown: The bread is done baking when it is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  • Let the bread cool before slicing: Let the bread cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. This will help the bread to hold its shape and prevent it from crumbling.

Conclusion:

Parmesan herb bread is a delicious and easy-to-make bread that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great bread to serve with soup or salad, or to use for sandwiches and paninis. This bread is also a great gift for friends and family. With its simple ingredients and delicious flavor, parmesan herb bread is sure to be a hit!
