Time 1h10m

Number Of Ingredients 9

SALAD
7 oz small shell pasta cooked and cooled
8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
3 hard boiled eggs
1 c celery sliced
1/2 green pepper diced
DRESSING
3/4 c miracle whip
1/2 c sweet pickle relish

Steps:

  • 1. Toss salad ingredients in large bowl.
  • 2. In small bowl mix dressing ingredients. Add dressing to macaroni mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour or more to let flavors blend.
  • 3. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Choose the right pasta shells: Larger pasta shells, such as jumbo or conchiglie, are ideal for this salad as they can hold more filling. Ensure they are cooked al dente to maintain a slight bite.
  • Prepare the pasta shells in advance: To save time, cook the pasta shells ahead of time and store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
  • Use fresh, quality ingredients: The freshness and quality of your ingredients will greatly impact the flavor of the salad. Choose ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and flavorful cheese.
  • Don't overfill the pasta shells: When filling the pasta shells, avoid overstuffing them, as this can make them difficult to eat. Aim for a moderate amount of filling that allows the flavors to blend harmoniously.
  • Chill the salad before serving: Refrigerate the pasta shell salad for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and enhances the refreshing nature of the dish.
